Not sure about this one!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes today is my birthday. My sister and I are going out to dinner tonight as her birthday was Wednesday – yes we are 2 days apart by 363 days!Well we are another week closer to Christmas. I am in panic mode right now as I have so much to do before my trip. I have some gifts for the girls to finish, my Valentine Operation Write Home cards to finish and mail, as well as the Retirement Village workshop cards and a project to do. With that in mind I will share my card today with only a little chit chat.Today’s card uses the sketch challenge from Gretchen’s blog Inspiration in Action. She does a Weekend Sketch on Thursday and I decided to use it for my card today. I’m not sure about this one as it was a real challenge using these colors but I need to use more of my Holiday Lounge DS paper. For the scalloped strip I didn’t feel either of my border punches would look good on it so I took my scallop oval and punched 2 of them. I then stamped the star from Patterned Pines on each of them and taped them together. I felt the card needed some “bling” so I used my glitter pens to do the star, garland, and balls on the tree as well as the stars on the ovals. I finished it off by including some silver cord in the bow. Other than the glitter pens, the rest of the supplies are all Stampin’ Up. Here is the sketch and my creation.

I am going to take a break this weekend and make the last of my cards for the Operation Write Home group. I’ll be back on Monday with some new cards. Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday and a Wonderful Weekend!
