OCC Stitching Challenge

On the http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/ blog they had a stitching challenge. You were to use stitching on your card. I have the little Janome machine for my cards, but I am sad to say I have not used it yet (I need some time to play with it and I haven’t had that yet). When I read this challenge I immediately thought of the retired Stampin’ Up set Sew Seasonal and wanted to use it. I decided to do faux stitching for my stitching requirement.

I chose the pumpkin from the set as I wanted to do a fall card. I went looking in my stash of paper for some fall paper and found some really neat paper to use. I also remembered I had a matching wheel and decided to use it also. Once I wheeled it out I decided to cut the pieces apart as I would get better use of the elements of the wheel.

Here is my card. I think it turned out pretty good.

Stamps: Sew Seasonal Paper: Creamy Caramel, Old Olive, Really Rust, white, DCWV Paper Stack Ink: Creamy Caramel, More Mustard, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, Palette Noir Black Accessories: Sew Sweet wheel, Chocolate Chip marker, ribbon (JoAnn’s), gold ribbon, aqua painter, mat pack, dimensionalsSo what do you think? Isn’t it a cute fall card? Thanks for looking and have a great day!
