Today’s card is a little different as it has limited stamping on it. I saw this sketch on OurCreativeCorner‘s blog and wanted to give it a try. I wanted to use something different for the embellishment in the corner besides a flower so I went looking in my stash and came up with this button. It matched the Groovy Guava paper perfectly so I went with that color and added Kraft as the card base. I have a lot of patterned paper that I need to use so I can make room for the new paper. With that in mind, I decided to use some of the Groovy Guava paper on the card also. In the picture the ribbon does not match the Guava but in real life they are a perfect match.
The sketch was fairly simple and lends itself to lots of options. You can create a card using patterned paper like I did or you could use a stamped image on the lower half. Give it a try to see what you can create. Here is the sketch and my card.
Stamps: So Many Sayings (retired) Paper: Groovy Guava cardstock and Patterned Paper (retired), Kraft, Very Vanilla Ink: Chocolate Chip Accessories: Button (Pink Hedgehog), ribbon (Ribbons and Bows Oh My), dew drops (Jody’s online share), scallop punch, Zots, sticky tape
So what do you think? This was a fast card to do. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
