Wow, what a title. I absolutely love this card!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used my 5 petal flower punch to create a card for a commitment I had (you can actually see the other card on February 21 here on my blog). I liked the flowers so I modified the flower and came up with this flower that looks so cool. I also used the punch to make the leaves on the flowers.
I began with the idea of using the flower and ribbon as the basis for the Our Creative Corner challenge. I decided to combine it with the Splitcoast Color Challenge 205. You were to use Kiwi Kiss, Perfect Plum, and Pink Pirouette. This is a great color combination.
I also created my background using stamps from 2 different sets. This one to me looks like patterned paper, what do you think?
I also used a ribbon tying tutorial from Kittie. I really like how it turned out. It is not as hard as it looks. They really do make the card. Let me know what you think.
Stamps: Embrace Life Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette Accessories: Always Artichoke – Perfect Plum – Pretty in Pink markers, ribbon, Very Vanilla brad (both Pink Hedgehog ), Fiskars paper edgers -Colonial, Spring Bouquet punch (retired), Boho Blossoms punch, 5 petal flower punch, sticky tape, dimensionals
Tell me what you think. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
