I hope everyone had a good weekend. I can’t believe the weather. It is the middle of May and it will not even hit 70 degrees. Highly unusual for our area.
Speaking of unusual, today’s card is not my usual style. I wanted to combine 2 challenges today. The first is from Stampin’ B’s design team
and you were to use rub ons. I have rub ons from several years ago when they were given as part of SAB. I wanted to combine it with Colour Create’s
challenge to use sky blue, tan, and ecru. I was able to accomplish both challenges but I know it is not my girlie style (sorry Sandy). Here is my creation.
inside of card
Bashful Blue, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla Accessories:
ribbon and Bashful Blue brads (both from Pink Hedgehog
), rub ons (SAB several years ago), Word Window – Designer Label – 3/4″ circle – Trio Flower – Scalloped Circle – Boho Blossoms punches, sticky tape, dimensionals
Even though this is not my usual style I hope you still like it. Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
I created this card for a challenge I read yesterday. You were to use black, white, and one other color. When I was looking through the catalog I ran across the Fresh Cuts set and knew it would be good to use – and if you are like me you don’t use this set often as you are unsure of what to do with it. When I began the card I also remember reading on the Stampin’ B’s Design Team blog they were doing a spotlighting technique (highlighting an area of an image by coloring it, and placing it in a shape so that the highlighted section has a border) challenge, so I began creating.
When I had finished my card and was looking for the blogs on here that discussed the challenge, I realized the black, white, and another color was for a blog that you had to use one of their stamps in your card. Since I had used a Stampin’ Up set it didn’t fit their challenge. It does still fit the Stampin B’s Design Team
challenge. Here is my creation.

I thought I’d give you a sneak peek this week of a few of the cards from my All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack card kits. Here is the one of the cards.
This is the male birthday card. I based this card on one I had made earlier for an 85 year old gentleman.
Hope you enjoyed my cards today. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
