My sister is home finally. She is still on antibiotics through and IV but at least I can spend some time at my house. I am taking today to rest and get things in order. Well the surgeon and doctor are supposed to talk to us about how long my sister has to be on the antibiotic and when she can go home. We are hoping for good news so cross your fingers. My sister is a little better. She is on the strongest antibiotic you can get. She is actually getting 2 different antibiotics intravenously. The doctor told us today that she will be getting the antibiotics for 10 – 14 days. The surgeon is coming in tomorrow so hopefully we will get some more answers.
