My Attempt at a monochromatic card

Edited after picture! Today I played with an inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. There was a picture collage that you were to use and create a card or project . When I saw the picture I was drawn to the ivory shell pillow. I thought it would be fun to create a monochromatic card using Very Vanilla. Easy Peasy Wednesday

Glad you came back to check out my Easy Peasy card. This is a card you can create in about 10 minutes. This is a 4 1/4″ square card. I used some of my Cottage Wall DS paper for the background (I love this paper and will be so sad when it retires). I added my ribbon at the bottom. I stamped the sentiment and butterfly. That is like telling the sun it can’t shine for 4 – 6 weeks. She just loves to run and play chase. I am keeping her on a short leash so at least if she starts I can reign her in quickly.…

Working the new colors

I decided that today I would share a card I made using some of the new colors from the Color Revolution. I used the sketch from the Stamping 411 blog. I also used the bow challenge from the Our Creative Corner blog – you had to use a bow on your card. I used the Vintage Vogue set as I hadn’t used it in a while. I love the colors on this card. I am…
