Painted Harvest in Blueberry Bushel

Hello Everyone ~ if you like blue you will love my Painted Harvest in Blueberry Bushel card today.

I think today is an off day for us.  Jess planned some off days where we can hang around the pool and relax to give the girls a chance to unwind.  Too much excitement puts them on overload and it is not a pretty site.  Those of you with little ones know what I am talking about.  It will be nice to take it easy and not have to fight the crowds for a day.  We may take and ride the monorail around for the fun of it.  The girls will like that.  We never know what the cay will bring until we get up.

I am so glad this set did not retire.  I love playing with it in different color combinations.  Today’s card uses Blueberry Bushel which is a pretty blue.  I began by stamping the flower using the Blueberry Bushel ink ~ this flower has 2 steps to form the flower.  It makes a nice flower that has dimension to it.  After I stamped both flower images I used my snips to fussy cut the image.  I then stamped the center using Daffodil Delight and fussy cut it also.  The center was added to the flower using dimensionals.  To finish off the flower a rhinestone was added to the center.  I used a piece of the Blueberry Bushel polka dot designer series paper and added it to a Blueberry Bushel card base.  A strip of Whisper White card stock that was 2″ wide and 5 1/4″ long.  Using the Layered Leaves embossing folder I embossed the strip.  After I embossed it I tool the Call Me Clover ink pad and lightly swiped it over the raised leaves.  To flag the end I used the Triple Banner punch.  Linen thread was wrapped around the lower portion of the strip and secured on the back.  The colored embossed strip was added to the card base using Tear & Tape.  The flower was then added using dimensionals also.  To finish the card, I tied a multi loop bow using the linen thread and attached using a glue dot.  Here is my completed Painted Harvest in Blueberry Bushel creation.

This flower is so pretty when you fussy cut it. Click the photo to see the details for my Painted Harvest in Blueberry Bushel.
