Paper Pumpkin ideas

Hello Stampers ~ I love sharing Paper Pumpkin ideas with you!

Lots going on in the household as Zoie has her dance recital this weekend!  She had picture day and dress rehearsal is coming up.  The program is on Saturday afternoon so I will be spending the afternoon watching her perform.  She is a little ham on the stage and not afraid of the audience at all.  Don’t know where she gets that from!  I will share pictures of her in the costume after Saturday.

We got the the June Paper Pumpkin in the mail earlier this week.  I always like to take the ideas and put my spin on them.  I managed to make a few alternate cards and 2 scrapbook pages ~ those will be shared on the weekend.  For the first card I changed it up just a little.  I did not need “Hooray” cards so I used my own sentiment.  I also sponged the edges of the banner with some Melon Mambo ink as it got lost in the background.  Here is the first card which is very similar to the one in the kit.

inside of card and envelope – I used the retired Fresh Fruit set to try and mimic the half slice of grapefruit but it did not turn out like I had hoped.

For the second card I took a piece of Emerald Envy and cut the note card from the kit down.  It was mounted onto the card front.  I then created the panel similar to the original idea but mounted it onto a piece of Melon Mambo.  The banner was sponged with Emerald Envy this time.  Here is the second card.

The kit had treat bags in it and I have no use for treat bags.  As part of the treat bag they had the cutest tissue paper for the insert.  The last card I created used that tissue paper as a background.  I cut the square down and mounted the piece onto a Whisper White card base.  I cut one of the treat bags up and used a strip across the bottom of the card.  The watercolored banner was in the kit so I added it at the top.  The white circle was also in the kit so I stamped the watermelon ~ which was the stamp set in the kit and added my sentiment.  Using the baker’s twine from the kit I added a little bow.  This was mounted onto the card front using dimensionals.  Here is the last card.

Thank you for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am headed to the yarn store today as I missed it last week since I had the girls.  Have a Great Day and do you like my Paper Pumpkin ideas so far this month?
