Paper Pumpkin Leaves

Happy Monday Everyone ~ I have an adorable Paper Pumpkin Leaves card for you today.

I had my monthly scrapbooking class yesterday.  We made some Fall and Thanksgiving pages in this class.  This week I have my Daisy Mini Album class.  I am excited about this class as this is my first mini album class.  I love the daisy suite and this album turned out so cute.  Jess is working from home today as she needs to take Zoie to her pediatrician as a follow up to the Urgent Card visit.  She also has to get a list of what Zoie can and cannot do in in school.  We are thinking no PE and no dance class for a few weeks but there may be more.  She will also have to see an orthopedic doctor as that seems to be the protocol for kids and broken bones now.  Hopefully she can get Zoie in early and can then bring her back here and get to work.  She will have a busy morning.

I had my September Paper Pumpkin out the other day and decided to play with it.  I did not need the pillow treat boxes so I decided to cut it apart and use the embossed panel for a card.  After I had the box apart, I cut the panel off the front using the embossed swirl as my guide as to where to cut it.  To highlight the swirl, I used a sponge dauber and went over the embossed area to have the swirl pop.  The Painted Autumn designer series paper was perfect as a compliment.  A panel of Very Vanilla was cut and a strip of the chevron design was added down the left hand side.  Next I used tear & tape and added the embossed panel.  A coordinating strip of the dsp was added across the bottom of the layer.  This panel was then added to an Early Espresso card base.  To finish off my card I sponged some Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  I then used the Leaf Punch to punch out my leaves.  They were added to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is my completed Paper Pumpkin Leaves creation.
