Paper Pumpkin Projects
Hello Stampers – would you like to see some Paper Pumpkin Projects today?
Years ago I used to have a Paper Pumpkin subscription. At that time we did not know what the kit would look like or what you would be making. I have to admit the card kits were my favorite so when I had no idea what the theme would be or if it would be cards or something else. I decided to cancel my subscription. Last month when Stampin’ Up announced the kit would coordinate with the Expressions in Ink Suite I knew I had to give it a try again!
I spent yesterday afternoon playing with the Paper Pumpkin for June. I had so much fun playing with this kit! I began by making one card as it was designed in the kit. Then I took that design and stepped it up. Finally I took the basic design and used the Expressions in Ink Suite of products to do another card. So let’s check out my Paper Pumpkin Projects.
This one was the original card from the kit.
The alternate idea was pretty easy as I felt the stamped image did not show up very well. So I used the stamp set to stamp the flower image, colored it, and then fussy cut it out. The inside and envelope were the same as the original. Here is the alternate idea.
Isn’t this one so cute? Now to show how this card inspired my card using the Expressions in Ink card, here is what I designed. I used scraps from the ephemera kit gold sheets to add the strips under the sentiment – they were actually pieces you would throw away and to cut out the center of the flower. I stamped the “Thanks” from the bundle stamp set and then fussy cut around it.
In case you are in need of some other Thank You cards, check out this one that is quick and easy. If you are a visual person and would like to see a video, this card is has a video to go along with it.
