Perfect Day Accented Blooms from Stampin’ Up

Happy Memorial Day!

Hello Ladies ~ Ready for some new paper and stamps in my Perfect Day Accented Blooms from Stampin’ Up?

I managed to get my ink and paper organized for the color revamp.  I pulled all my retired paper, ink, reinkers, and markers and put them in a box.  I was going to work on my ribbon next, but I got the cutest phone call.  Jess called me and when I said hello Remi yelled “Gigi I want to have a sleep over at your house!”  Jess and I talked and she dropped Remi off to spend the night with me.  The first thing she said was she wanted to color, cut, and paste.  She said she wanted to color a bunny so I went online and found a bunny.  She colored that and then wanted to cut it.  After she cut it she had to glue it.  Then she asked if she could stamp.  I got some paper, ink, and a stamp and she had fun.  Here are some pictures of her stamping.

We met my sister and Zoie at Outback for dinner and then we came back here.  It will be interesting to see what she wants to do today.

My card today uses some new designer series paper.  I thought the image from Accented Blooms paired well with the leaves from Nature’s Poem.  I added the designer series paper at an angle.  I stamped the flower image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in using markers.  I mounted the panel onto a piece of Tranquil Tide card stock and then adhered the panel to the card base using dimensionals.  The Tailored Tag punch was used with a piece of Berry Burst card stock to create the layer for the sentiment.  The sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms was stamped onto Whisper White and then using snips I cut down the sentiment so that it would fit inside the punched shape and allow for a border.  The 2 shapes were glued together and then it was mounted onto the image panel with dimensionals.  Here is the completed Perfect Day Accented Blooms from Stampin’ Up.
