Happy Wednesday Everyone ~ wait until you see my Petal Passion Memories and More Card today.
Well the path of the storm has shifted east. We may only get a few inches if that much. I am kinda sad as I was hoping for a good snow. With the freezing weather if we get snow it will be around for a while. I would love for the cold to get out of here! It has not been above freezing in most areas for over a week. They are even calling for snow in Florida! This is crazy weather.
Are you ready for the Occasions catalog? It goes live today and you can order from it. I have ordered several papers and embellishments. I have played with the Petal Passion paper, embellishments, embossing folders, and ribbon. Check out my latest class using these items here. This suite is fabulous with lots of fun items you can use even if you don’t have the stamp set and coordinating framelits. Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made using the Petal Passion Memories and More Card pack. Some times we need a card but we don’t have time to pull out stamps and ink. These cards are perfect for those times. They are black and white so they can go with any color. Some of them do have Powder Pink highlights on them but not all. You can go soft or you can go bold. I would love to do a tutorial using these cards if you are interested. Let me know and I will work on it and post it in on my tutorial page.
I chose 2 image cards from the pack. The cards are the same layout and measured 3″ x 4″. I cut them down so the image was the only thing on the card. I used the Powder Pink, Old Olive, and Sweet Sugarplum markers to add some color. Then they were mounted onto a piece of Powder Pink card stock. I then took another card and used it as my background and mounted the image panel onto it. This was attached to a Powder Pink panel with dimensionals. I used some of the gorgeous organza ribbon from the suite and added a bow down the left hand side. The finished panels were attached to a Whisper White card base. Here is my first Petal Passion Memories and More Card.

For the second card I used the same procedure as above for the image panel. This panel was added to a Basic Black panel. I used a striped background card for this one and mounted the image panel to a Basic Black piece, The ribbon was added at the bottom this time and instead of a bow I used a simple knot. The completed panels were again added to a Whisper White card base. Here is the completed Petal Passion Memories and More card 2.
