Petal Promenade Happy Day

Hello Stampers ~ I played with some designer series paper for my Petal Promenade Happy Day creation.

Yesterday my schedule was totally messed up.  I wrote the wrong day down for Bijou’s spa appointment.  I was supposed to go today not yesterday.  They took her anyway so I don’t have that today.  I also had an appointment to meet with the person in charge at the pavilion of Carolina Colours (where I am building my house) to talk to him about the possibly of holding a class there.  I have some Christmas cards I designed and wanted to see what the interest would be in holding a class.  I got the details worked out and a date set up so I need to get the e-mail sent out so people can sign up.  I am hoping to get that out later this week so I can see where I stand.

Earlier this week I did a video showing how to use a piece of the Petal Promenade designer series paper in a new way.  Today I am using that same paper to create my card.  This time I used two of the papers and added a sentiment.  I began by using one of the pink marble looking papers and added a piece of the 3/8″ metallic edge ribbon.  This panel was added to a Smoky Slate card base.  I used one of the square pieces from the collection and stamped a sentiment in the center using Highland Heather ink.  I mounted this onto a piece of Highland Heather card stock and added it to the card base using dimensionals.  To finish off the card I added a bow to the ribbon.  Here is my quick and easy Petal Promenade Happy Day creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I will be working on swaps today as I do not have any place to go so I am going to take advantage of the free day and crank out some more swaps.  What plans do you have for today?  Have a Great Day and not you have another idea for the designer series paper Petal Promenade Happy Day.
