A Petals Christmas

It’s another Sketch Frenzy Friday
Our sketch this week was designed by Tina Taves.  It was a simple
sketch but I think I have added just the right amount of detail to make a
very pretty card.

I began by embossing the background using the Petals-a-Plenty
embossing folder.  I then used my Cherry Cobbler marker to color the
dots in the center of the flowers.  Next I used a gold gel pen to add
some bling to the other dots.   Next I colored the stamp with markers.
After I had stamped it I traced the bells with my gold gel pen.  I
layered the image on the Cherry and Artichoke.  Next I stamped the
sentiment and punched it out with the large oval.  I then layered it on
the punch.  It needed something so I used the gel pen to go around the
edges and traced around the oval.  When I laid it on the card it seemed
to need something so I added some seam binding.  Here is my creation.

Hope you enjoyed my card today.  It is a great sketch so you might want to give it a try and play along with us.  Check out the link above.  The next stop in the hop is Ros Davidson.  Make sure you check out what she created.  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!
