Hello Stampers!
Well yesterday was a wash. I spent the day looking at You Tube videos on various topic – some stamping related and some not. I did pick up my knitting but dropped a stitch so had to take out all the rows I had worked on. Bummer! Last night Michaela and I went to the mall for a little shopping. She had to get a few things for today and went along to keep her company.
Today we are wedding dress shopping! We have 3 stores she has set up appointments at. She has no idea what type of dress she wants so it will be interesting to see what they bring her. I will let you know if we were successful or not.
Another decor item Jess wanted for Remi’s party was a photo banner. She takes a photo from each month of her first year and uses them to make a banner. She did the same for Zoie and it is so cute. With this one we made it out of fabric. I used one of the banners from our Banner Kit from last year as a pattern. We cut out the banners then ironed on the pictures she had printed onto fusible photo paper. After that we applied sticky backed felt to give them some stability. The last thing we did was use the Crop-o-dile to add the eyelets. We strung the rope through each banner and the banner was complete. She may want to add some decoration in between each banner at a later date. Here is the banner.
