Pink Thoughts

I hope you have some plans to stamp today. It is supposed to rain here today so I am going to try and finish some Mother’s Day cards for my Etsy shop.

Thought I would share this card I made last night. I used the color challenge from the Color Dare blog. The colors were Basic Black, Green Galore, and Pretty in Pink. I wanted to do something a little different and not use flowers as I have used them a lot lately and I think I achieved that with today’s card. I thought pink with black paisley would make a good background. I then wanted a strip down the side so I pulled out my Boho Blossoms and used the flowers to create my own paper. I colored the leaves with the green and the flowers with the pink. Then I traced the swirly stems with my glitter pen. Once I got the card together I thought it would be too much to add a stamped image so I went with a sentiment. I like how this turned out and other than the flower background it was a quick easy card. Here is my creation.
