To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month, Late Night Stampers has a pink challenge. You were to create a card and use pink. I have had fun this week with a variety of pinks on my cards. I hope you have found some inspiration in my posts so far.
This time I combined Pretty in Pink with Early Espresso. Next to pink and black I love pink and brown. I used the sketch and technique challenge at Creative Sketches
Along with the above sketch you were to use embossing on your card. I got a bunch or ribbon in yesterday from the Clearance Rack. Did you take advantage of the sale? They had some great deals on their ribbon. I bought some to use in colors that are current now. I used a piece on my card today.
I began by using a marker to color the bottom part of the bouquet from Wedding Sweet and I stamped it in the bottom corner. Next I needed to add my embossing. I took my idea from the sketch as to how to do my embossing. I cut some chipboard in strips and taped them to the embossing folder. I put my cardstock inside and ran it through the Big Shot and it embossed only where the chipboard was. After that I stamped my flower and shaped element and cut them out. The only thing left was my sentiment. I created that shape by using the curly label punch on the ends and then using the corner rounder to round the ends. I sponged my shape and applied to the card front with dimensionals. Here is what I created.
