Hello Everyone!
I hope you have all survived the latest snow storm. I know many of you are ready for winter to be over. I bet many of you are sick of shoveling also.
My card today is one I made while I was playing with a new item. About a year ago I was watching UStream broadcast and the lady mentioned she was using buckram. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is a stiff fabric used in sewing to add stiffness and help it hold it’s shape. I went out and bought some and never used it. I was looking through my Take Ten magazine and one of the spreads had used a fabric to make a series of cards. I decided to pull out my buckram and try it.
I cut a larger piece than I needed and then used my spritzers to color it with Pool Party and Marina Mist. After I let it dry I stamped it and then added some Dazzling Details. I also pulled out some of my gauze from my medicine cabinet and colored it with Crumb Cake. I added it to mimic netting. Here is my final card.

Have you ever played with different materials? I would love to hear what you used so I could try it also.
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope my card inspired you to try something new. Have a Sensational Sunday!
Robbie
