Hello Stampers!
I hope you all had a good day yesterday and you are ready to tackle today! I got a lot accomplished yesterday. In fact I got more done than I thought I would. I was pleased as I really had a lot to do. I managed to get some photos taken, my pocket letter finished and put together, and my cards for my workshop next month completed. I was pleased!
I recently got the Going Places ds paper stack from the Occasions catalog. I did not get the stamp set as I was only going to use it for our Bags & Tags class. I decided I wanted to play with it so I remembered the World Map stamp. I decided to combine the two and see what I could come up with.
I began by stamping the World Map with Sahara Sand on Very Vanilla card stock. I then choose a piece of the ds paper that would go and added it to the bottom as a strip. I pulled out my sentiment and stamped it with Lost Lagoon. I punched it out with the 1 1/2″ circle punch. I then punched a 1 3/4″ circle from Lost Lagoon. I mounted the two and added to my card front using dimensionals. Here is what my final creation looks like.
