Hello Everyone ~ I have a cute Pop of Petals One Color Wonder idea for you today.
What is your favorite holiday to craft for? Mine is Halloween. I love making Halloween cards. Not sure why that one appeals to me the most. I can’t wait for the Holiday Catalog to come out so I can see what stamp sets and designer series paper they have for Halloween. I also have to say the last few years I have not particularly cared for what they have. This year the only thing that appealed to me was the Ornate Frames dies. I have used them a lot! Leave me a comment and tell me your favorite holiday to craft for.
I voted yesterday. There was a line for voting unlike what I was told. I will be going back to early voting from now on. I also ran a few errands. When I came home I had to do my reading for the book club. I got that completed and did not have time for anything else. Today I have a conference call and this afternoon we are having a game day. If I have time I will be making a few cards.
My One Color Wonder video is the share for today. I was a little nervous about this color with this set but I think I came up with a cute idea. I did use some of the Golden Honey dsp but you could easily use any black and white paper or even stamp the strip at the bottom. Here is the video for my Pop of Petals One Color Wonder.
Here is the photo so you can check out how I created the flowers.

The Pop of Petals stamp set is fun to play with. Look at this idea that uses the stamp set with the Detailed Bands Dies. Here is another quick and easy idea that uses dry embossing. This idea uses a watercolored paper to punch the flowers out of which has a lot of interest.
