Positive Thoughts Friend Creation

Hello Stampers ~ I did some sponging on my Positive Thoughts Friend Creation.

My Facebook Live went well.  On Monday I have another Facebook Live.  I am going to try doing a Zoom and streaming it into my Facebook Group.  I want to allow the ladies to interact more so I thought I would give this a try.  I then worked on my cards for this week.  I was almost finished when I remembered I need to do some sneak peeks for my October class.  So I stopped and started designing those cards.  I am loving the suite I chose to use next month.  I have had fun using all the product.  I can’t wait to show you the cards.

Today I will work on some more cards for the Inspiration in the Mail in October, make my Facebook Live card for tomorrow, and make my videos for this week.  I need to get that completed before I have to pick up Remi.  I have a lot to do so I will be very busy.  I also have to move my things down as I am having some work done in my studio so I have to work downstairs.  I may have to get up at 6:00 to get it all done!

I used a clean and simple idea for today’s card.  Some sponging was used to ground my images.  Here is the video showing how to add the sponging for the Positive Thoughts Friend Creation.

Features of the Card

  • Positive Thoughts
  • Daisy Lane
  • card base ~ Whisper White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Cajun Craze ~ 3 1/2″ x 4 7/8″    and    scrap
  • Whisper White ~ 3 3/4″ x 5″    and    scraps
  • Nature’s Thoughts dies
  • Stitched Rectangle dies

If you have images on your card that seem to be floating in the air, add some sponging behind it. The Positive Thoughts Friend Creation is an example of this technique.

This fun flower reminds me of a chrysanthemum. It makes a great image for my Positive Thoughts Friend Creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have Remi this week so I will be helping her with her school work and online learning.  I will be doing some Zoom’s and streaming them into my Facebook group and page.  I also have another quilting class this week that I have to get my pieces cut for.  I hope you have some fun plans.  Have a Sensational Sunday and did you like the idea of sponging to ground an image in the Positive Thoughts Friend Creation.
