Hello Stampers ~ I have a feminine Pretty Oh So Eclectic creation today.
Well I did not get any cleaning done yesterday as I ended up going shopping with Barb. We sent to Hobby Lobby where I picked up a new lamp shade, some foam for Bijou’s alcove, and a few wall decor items. We then went to Lowe’s to get paint where I also got a plant for the front porch. I looked at porch furniture but could not find anything that I really liked. We opted to go over to Wal-mart and I found a set of 2 chairs and a table as well as another plant for the table on the porch. Here is the photo of it on my porch.
I will be sitting out there in the morning and having my tea. It also looks so good sitting in my Great Sunroom and looking out and seeing it. It is starting to feel like a home. Still have a ways to go inside but I am getting there. Today I have to clean as I have to get it done and I need to make some cards!
My card today began with the Petal Promenade designer series paper. I struggle with using this paper and decided I wanted to try and see what I could come up with. I began with a Fresh Fig card base. This paper is retiring and will go quickly so if you want some make sure you get it soon. I used the Hexagons embossing folder to emboss the card front. From the Petal Promenade paper I chose the marble pattern and flagged one end of the strip. A pearlized doily was cut in half and attached to each side of the designer series paper making sure the same amount stuck out on each side. This panel was added to the top of the card front making sure it was in the middle using Tear & Tape. Using the flower stamp in the set I inked up the top using the Fresh Fig marker. The bottom was inked up using the Old Olive marker. The image was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White. Repeat this procedure 2 more times so you have 3 flowers. Using a sponge and the Fresh Fig stamp pad ink was applied to the flower top. The coordinating framelit was used to cut out the flower. 2 of the flowers were added to the banner shape using glue dots. The third flower was added with dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped using Fresh Fig ink and then the ends were trimmed to a point. The sentiment was added to the lower right hand corner using dimensionals. To finish off the card a bow was tied using the Silver metallic edge ribbon and added using glue dots. Here is the completed Pretty Oh So Eclectic creation.
