Priceless Valentine

Well many of us will get our wish for a white Christmas.  The weatherman says we are going to get snow in the afternoon of Christmas Day.  Right now they don’t know if it will be a little or a huge dump.  You can bet I will be watching the weather the next few days to see what happens.

Today’s card began with the sketch from Stamping 411.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with this except I wanted to use the Priceless set.  I saw an emboss with color at the Our Creative Corner blog.  The challenge was to ink your embossing folder before running it through your Big Shot.  I thought this would be fun so I decided to use the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.  I inked up the raised side rather than the flat side.  This gave the petals an outline of color and I really liked how it turned out.  I put the indented side up as I really liked the look of this.  This is a 5 1/2″ square card.  I think it makes a very nice Valentine card.  What do you think?  Here is my creation.

I will be running a bunch of errands today.  Need to get my food for Christmas Day!  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
