A Productive Monday!

I spent a lot of time creating yesterday. It was a very productive day. I painted all my clothespins for the craft show, completed 4 challenges, as well as 2 cards for my stamp-a-stack this weekend.

I have 2 cards to share with you today. The first card was for a color challenge at the Colour Create blog. You were to use green, red, and white. I chose Mellow Moss, Real Red, and white. I combined it with the sketch challenge at Gretchen’s blog Inspiration in Action. I used the real red marker to draw the doodle lines on the scallops. I also used a large oval punch to mask the scallop oval and sponge color on the scallops. Here is the sketch and my creation.

My second card was for Tracy’s sketch at the Eat Sleep Stamp blog. I flipped the sketch as I wanted to use the stamp from Big on Christmas. It also fits the challenge for the Late Night Stampers group where you were to create a card with a snow theme. I embossed the background with white then sponged the edges with Bashful Blue. It really makes the snowflakes pop. The card has a lot of sparkle but you can’t tell from my photo. I used the clear Sakura gelly roll pen and the Spica microflake pen. Here is the sketch and my creation.

So what do you think of my two cards? I have another one to share with you tomorrow so make sure you come back and check it out. I think you will like that one also. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
