Quick and easy layout idea

Hello everyone – I have a Quick and easy layout idea for you today.

I ran across a great sketch that I wanted to try as it was a card I could make in about 10 minutes. I chose to use the Thoughtful Journey dsp as this is beautiful paper. The pattern I chose had clusters of wild grasses so I went looking in my dies for something that would be close. The spikey die in Cheerful Daisies reminded me of the grasses so I cut them out. I rounded the corners of the pattern paper in the center and added them to my card. Added some ribbon and my card is complete. Here is my take on the sketch.

White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
scrap for die cutting
Pretty Peacock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
scrap for die cutting
Thoughtful Journey dsp – 3 1/2″ x 3 5/8″ -Pretty Peacock & Wild Wheat grasses
1 3/8″ x 3 5/8″– Blueberry Bushel watercolor pattern

Here is another idea that uses the same paper that was used today. This card uses a similar pattern with the wild grasses but this one has a different color way.
