Red

Good Morning Stampers ~ Red is not my favorite color!

Well we are headed to the hotel tonight so spend the night.  We decided to spend the night at an airport close to the hotel as getting up early and out with 2 young children is impossible.  This way we have to get up early but not as early as having a 2 hour drive!  I am looking forward to seeing Michaela!

The Coloring Down the Lines blog hop has another fun twist.  This week we have another monochromatic color challenge.  This week we were to use RED!

Now unlike my sister red is not my favorite color.  I really had a hard time figuring out what to do but then I looked at my preorder and there was an embossing folder in it that I could use.  I took a piece of Whisper White and embossed it with the folder.  Then I took my Real Red marker and colored only the flowers on the embossing.  I attached this to a Real Red card base.  I took some of the new Real Red metallic thread and looped it around the back.  I stamped the sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms and cut it down.  I punched a Real Red decorative label and glued my sentiment on it.  I added dimensionals to the back and attached it to my card over the thread.  My card is complete.  Here is my take on the challenge.

Are you ready to see the next red creation?  Hop on down the lines to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to check out her project.  Make sure you leave her some love!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be busy finishing up cleaning, ironing, and packing.  I also need to write my blog posts before I go.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and pull out your read and be creative along with us!
