Relaxing beach scene

Relaxing beach scene

Hello everyone – look at this Relaxing beach scene that combines several die sets.

Can’t you just see yourself on this beach enjoying the sun.  Using the Colors of Summer – Azure Afternoon, Crumb Cake, and Shaded Spruce – it is easy to create beach scenes.  I used the Cascading Ruffles embossing folder to make my waves background.  Then I created my beach by sponging ink onto a Spotlight on Nature die cut circle.  Mount it on another Spotlight on Nature circle and mount onto card front.  Finish off the scene with a beach chair and some fronds.  Here is what the card looks like.

About my card

White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Azure Afternoon – 4″ x 5 1/4″

The Cascading Ruffles embossing folder can be used for a variety of things.  This card uses it to mimic wind.  Here is another idea where it was used for waves again.
