A remade workshop card

Good Morning!

I want to share another card that we will make in our workshop this month.  I was inspired by a card I saw on Mary Brown’s blog.  I loved how she used the new Blossom Bouquet triple layer punch and thought it would be a good one to use for a twisted easel card.  I made my first card but just was not happy with it.

I decided to sleep on it and the next morning I went blurfing and saw a card made by Connie Babbert and thought if I could not get my original card to work out, I could use a version of her card.

When I started playing the next morning, I decided that the baker’s twine was some of the problem.  So I pulled the flowers apart and the stems off the background.  I pulled a new piece of white out and this time stamped the stems closer together.  I then reattached the flowers to the stems.  It was looking better but I wanted to add some ribbon to the flower stems.  I decided to use the Real Red 1/8″ taffeta.  I used a hole punch and punched a hole on each side of the stem just above the bottom set of leaves.  I tied the the ribbon on and it was slowly getting more to my liking.  When I laid it on the card, it still was not doing anything for me.  I decided it was the yellow layer.  I pulled it off and added a red layer and finished it with my sentiment.  Now it was almost done but it still needed something so I pulled out my rhinestones and added one to the center of each flower.  Now it was done and I was happy with it.  Here is my creation.

We are supposed to have some great weather this weekend.  Hope you have good weather also.  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!
