Retirement Village cards

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope you are not in the path of the latest storm and expecting snow later today.  This weather is supposed to be Spring-like not cold.  I am going to cross my fingers and hope we get rain.

Each month I go to one of the retirement villages and help the ladies there make cards.  I have been doing it about 2 years now.  Things have changed since I first started.  The ladies now cannot punch anything as they do not have the strength.  Their eyesight is not as good either.  Needless to say I am challenged each month to design 3 cards they can make with relatively little issues.  I am currently working on collage stamping and one layer cards.

The ladies only pay $1 for the 3 cards so I usually use retired colors and sometimes retired stamps.  Here are the cards the ladies will make on Tuesday.

I am sure the ladies will like them.  They are just glad to make them.  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!

  1. I think this is a great choice of cards for the ladies to make…my favorite is the 'scribble' card! Have a great day and thank you for what you do for these ladies!

  2. Great, Robbie. I like the first one. It is so bright, and I bet they had fun with that one. All are very springlike, so despite the snowy forecast, it is springlike at your house. Hugs.

  3. I am partial to your bird card Robbie, but I am so inspired by your love for those ladies! What a treat to have you for their creative coach!
