Ribbon flowers

Good Morning Everyone!

Well I spent yesterday doing my taxes and e-filing them.  Last night I got an e-mail saying they have been accepted.  I am so glad they are done.  Now to file my state taxes.

My card today began with the challenge at Late Night Stampers.  This week we were to show some creative uses for ribbon.  I thought it would be fun to create some flowers with the ribbon.  I pulled out a needle and thread and added a running stitch along the bottom.  I then pulled it to gather the ribbon and form a circle.  I tied the ends into a knot.  I added a few glue dots to help hold the ends under the flower.  I then cut the ribbon into stem and leaf shapes.  I glued them to my card as glue dots would not hold very well.

I needed a sketch for my card and Mary Jo at Technostamper gave us a good one this week.

My card came together very quickly once I had my sketch flowers created.  Here is what I created using both of these challenges.

We would love to have you play along with either or both of these challenges.  Check out the details for the ribbon challenge at the Late Night Stampers blog.

You can find the sketch challenge at the Technostamper blog.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you will join our challenges this week.  Have a Marvelous Monday!
