Ribbon for Card Making
Hello Everyone – ribbon for card making is the perfect embellishment in my opinion.
Finding the right accent can make your card. Many times when I am close to completing my card I look at it and feel like something is missing. Sometimes all it needs is some bling other times it needs more. In the case when it needs more I usually add ribbon.
One of my favorite ribbons to use is the White Crinkled Seam Binding. I am partial to narrow ribbons and this one is only 1/4″ wide. It is also soft and ties easily which is another trait I look for. Even though the ribbon is soft it does form a nice ribbon that holds it shape.

Today’s creation is a clean and simple idea but has lots of texture. I loved all the interest on it but I wanted to soften it some. That is where the seam binding ribbon came in. I think the ribbon adds a feminine touch and accents the blank space between the 2 rectangle panels don’t you? Your eye is drawn to that cute little bow and then you spot the pop of color of the flowers. Using the ribbon for card making was the perfect element to this creation.
