My Chemo Friend likes roses. I thought it would be a good to use the Fifth Avenue Floral and the color splash technique to create a card to send to her. To make my rose, I used Shimmery White paper and Cameo Coral ink and Versamark to clear emboss the rose 4 times. I created 4 layers from the finished images.
I used the sketch from the Card Patterns blog for my card. It was great sketch as it allowed me to highlight the layered rose. The Our Creative Corner blog challenged us to use a border punch. This is one tool I use a lot as I really like them. I thought this card would be great to use the eyelet border punch with. Once I cut my border strip I used a sponge dauber and applied ink to the edge to soften the edge. I then just had to layer my patterned paper and ribbon then add dimensionals and attach to card. Here is the sketch and my creation.

I hope you like today’s card. It is very feminine and I know the lady will like it. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
