Hello Ladies ~ I have another Mother’s Day idea today with my Rose Wonder Mother’s Day creation.
Well I crossed a lot off my list yesterday. It felt good to get a lot completed. I still have a lot on my list but again they are small tasks so I should be able to knock out some more of that list. I have a workshop this morning and then I have to go pick up something for Jess. I am hoping on my way back to drop off some more things to donate. The more I can get out in the next few days the better. I have a lot of stuff to donate so I am hoping to clean some of it out each day. I am meeting with the Real Estate agent on Wednesday and we are hoping to have it on the market by this weekend. I will be glad as then I will be able to relax and focus on my stamping. Cross your fingers!
I thought I would share another Mother’s Day card today. We will be making them in a few weeks so if you have some ideas ahead of time you will be all set when you have to make them. I began with the Rose Garden thinlits. I cut the large thinlit out of Whisper White card stock. I then cut the leaves out of vellum and Silver Foil paper. I added dots of glue to the back of the rose shape and set aside to dry a little. I then took the leaves and added glue to the ends of each one. I used a piece of Soft Sky card stock and attached the Rose thinlit to the lower left hand corner. The leaves were attached to the upper right hand corner. I stamped my sentiment onto Whisper White using Memento Tuxedo black ink. The ends of the strip were flagged and then the sentiment was added over top the leaf ends using dimensionals. I added the Soft Sky layer to a Basic Black layer and then the layers were added to a Whisper White card base. To finish my card I added a cute little silver bow. Here is my completed Rose Wonder Mother’s Day.
