I was making a card the other day for my All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack when the image I was using just seemed to say Cherry Blossoms. I decided to create a card in honor of the beautiful trees that are lining the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC.
I wanted a simple but elegant card so I stamped the swirl from Baroque Motifs to use as the background. I used my Sakura clear Stardust gelly roll pen to highlight some of the swirls for some bling. I colored the image with markers and then mounted it on Pretty in Pink and Mellow Moss (I love pink and moss together, so soft and subtle). I used some pink organdy ribbon I have had for a while and did a double loop bow. I added my rhinestones after the card was put together so that I did not hide them behind the image. Here is my creation.
