Second post, scroll down for the first.
I had a little time yesterday after my observations and before my meeting to make a card. I was able to take a photo of it this afternoon after my observations so I decided to post it now.
For this card I used Gretchen’s sketch at Inspiration in Action. Gretchen does a weekend sketch challenge and I have been participating for a couple of weeks so I wanted to continue. I did flip her sketch to use the image I had chosen. I also wanted to do another challenge at I Dream of Stamping blog. They have 5 challenges that need to be completed by February 28. This is my third completed challenge so I have 2 left. The third challenge was an ice challenge. You were to create a card using some “ice” in some form. I did not want to do a snow card as I have had enough of that for a while so I decided to create a card and include some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for lots of sparkle like snow. I know it is hard to see the sparkle but everyone has a hard time capturing sparkle in photographs. I pulled out my Herb Expressions set and began creating. I have used yellow, black, and red before and I always like this color combination and the finished product so I decided to use these colors on my card. I stamped my image and colored it in with markers. For my colors, I was inspired by a jigsaw puzzle of a flower I saw. The flower used the same colors I used for my flowers. My sentiments are from the same set. I just highlighted parts of the stamp with markers and stamped them. Here is the sketch and my gorgeous card.
