Hello everyone – see a fun technique using ribbon for your card front on today’s share. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and you are ready to bring in the New Year!

Looking for ways to use ribbon in a unique way? Check out how I tied some knots in a length and then added it to my card front. I took a long piece of ribbon and began tying my knots. I tried measuring to make them even but it is almost impossible so I just gave up and tied knots along the strip. I then added my ribbon to the top and bottom of my dsp. Here is what it looks like.

When I added my ribbon to the card front I tried to have the top knots with the point up and the bottom knots with the point down. If needed I used a glue dot to get them to lay the correct way.

This dsp is in the annual catalog and still available. It has some great papers for card making.

The dsp used is the Inked Botanicals and I love this plaid pattern. Here is another idea using this paper. I used that same paper with the truck bundle for a great guy card.
