Sheltering Tree Summer

Hello Everyone ~

Well today I have some errands to run and I have to organize and pack the car.  Jess is going to help me so hopefully I can get everything I need in the car.  Closing went off fine but I did find one area where they missed so they are going to get me the check for that one.  Several people have asked if it was sad to say goodbye to the house I built.  I really wasn’t sad, I think I was relieved that it was all finally over and I did not have to deal with the buyer any more.  I did see the HOA president yesterday morning and she said he has already started  contacting them about some things he wants to do that are not approved by the Covenants.  I think he is going to be surprised that they are not going to allow it and may not be happy.  It will be interesting to see how things go over the next few months.

I heard from the moving company and they are actually delivering my furniture on Monday.  I was surprised but glad as that means I will have my bed and a chair.  Internet is being hooked up on Tuesday so I will be good for posting and keeping up with everyone.  I am planning on doing a Facebook Live on Friday evening and can give you a tour.  Hopefully I will have most of my supplies unpacked but it not I will figure out something to make.

The next set on the Catalog Journey is Sheltering Tree.  I thought it would be fun to create a Summer card.  I began by stamping the ground using Old Olive.  I needed that to anchor my tree.  The tree was made by using Early Espresso.  I then added the leaves stamp with Shaded Spruce ink.  To show the summertime feeling I added a bicycle under the tree and a swing hanging from one of the branches.  To add some fun I used the leaves stamp and Daffodil Delight ink to add a flowery bush.  I wanted a sentiment to reflect the the summertime feel so I used the Make a Difference stamp set to stamp out the words.  Here is my completed Sheltering Tree Summer creation.
