#ShopYourCraftStash Blended Seasons

Hello Everyone ~ A Christmas card for my #ShopYourCraftStash Blended Seasons idea.

Yesterday I finished raking my back yard and did my front yard.  I have 7 bags of leaves for the pick up next week.  It by no way took care of all my leaves but it is much better.  I will not be raking any more this year as I waited until all the leaves had fallen.  I also finished my front porch and fixed the areas that were a problem.  Here is a photo of the completed porch.

You can see 2 of the 3 trees in my front yard and the candles in my windows.  I am glad I finally got it finished.  Now I need to start thinking about what I am going to do for January.  I am thinking snowmen and snowflakes.  What do you think?

For my #ShopYourCraftStash idea today I opted to use a current set with a retired set.  The Blended Seasons stamp set has a holly banner in it.  I paired it with the tree in Winder Woods.  The holly banner was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink across the top of a Whisper White panel.  It was colored using Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.  The tree from Winter Woods was stamped on the left hand side of the Whisper White panel using Shaded Spruce ink.  I went looking in my retired Christmas stamp sets and the Snowflake Sentiments had a Merry Christmas with some other words.  Since I wanted just the Merry Christmas, I used my Cherry Cobbler marker to ink up only the Merry Christmas words.  It was then stamped on the right hand side of the card panel.  This panel was then added to a Cherry Cobbler card base.  A retired small star punch was used with gold glimmer paper for the star at the top of the tree.  The rhinestones were colored with an alcohol marker then added to the tree.  The final embellishment was a Cherry Cobbler ribbon made from retired ribbon.  Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Blended Seasons creation.

A pretty Christmas card is fun to make especially when you combine new and retired items. Check out this #ShopYourCraftStash Blended Seasons example.

Did you see these other Christmas card ideas?  Here is one that that was made to look like Santa’s suit and is a quick and easy idea.  This card also uses a retired stamp set for this lovely card.  And finally this idea uses some of the beautiful Feels Like Frost dsp.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am headed to a local craft show today to see what they have to offer.  I got my light post on my front porch there last year and you never know what I will find today.  Have a Super Saturday and I hope you liked my #ShopYourCraftStash Blended Seasons creation.
