Happy Saturday Everyone ~ are you ready for another #ShopYourCraftStash ~ Bunch of Blossoms?
Well I got 3 cards made yesterday in between cards and dinner. Now I have 2 videos to make and I will have all my posts for next week until after the girls leave designed. I know what I am doing for one of the videos so I just need to make it. The other one is my One Color Wonder so I need to come up with a layout. I will keep my eyes open as I surf the internet for a layout that I like that I can make work. It rained most of yesterday so the perfect day to spend in my studio getting inky. I am glad I only have 2 videos left for the upcoming week. I will work on them today as well as do my cleaning and go grocery shopping. It will be a busy day for me!
My #ShopYourCraftStash has been well received. Apparently I am not the only one with lots of retired items and desire to use them. Today’s share is a great example of #ShopYourCraftStash. Do you have the Sailing Home bundle? It is a great stamp set. There is another stamp set in the catalog that pairs well with it. I did not want to purchase another stamp set as I already have quite a few. While looking through my retired sets I saw the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set. This set has several images that can be used as seashells. I pulled it out to make my card. I started with a Whisper White panel that I wanted to make a beach scene. I sponged Sahara Sand ink on the bottom. I then added some sponged water using Balmy Blue. Finally I added some really light Balmy Blue across the top of the panel to add some color to the sky. The panel was then added to a Crumb Cake card base. Using some Very Vanilla card stock I stamped the 3 shells using Versamark ink. It was then embossed using gold embossing powder. The coordinating Blossom Builder punch was used to punch them out. The shells were added to the lower left hand of the panel using glue dots and dimensionals. On a scrap of Whisper White I stamped the large boat using Memento Tuxedo black ink. I then used Stampin’ Write markers to color it in. The framelit was used to cut it out and then it was added to the card front using dimensionals. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment from Colorful Seasons using Balmy Blue ink. Here is my #ShopYourCraftStash ~ Bunch of Blossoms creation.

Good morning Robbie,
This is another great card for the #ShopYourCraftStash series. I would not have thought to use the Blossom set for shells, how creative.
Thank you for sharing this idea, and your time.
Relax and enjoy the time next week with your family. 🙂
