Happy Saturday Everyone ~ I have a #ShopYourCraftStash Painted Petals creation to share with you today.
I spent the morning cleaning yesterday. I had both bathrooms to do as well as some laundry. I did not get my video made so I will have to do that today along with more laundry and mop my floors. Last night we had our Development Thanksgiving dinner. This dinner along with the Christmas dinner is very popular. There are so many who go to the Christmas dinner that they do it on 2 nights. Our chef is fabulous and the food is so good. Here are some pictures of the set up and the buffet.
I love taking retired items and pairing them with current items. I went looking at my stamp sets and the Painted Petals that was so popular several years ago went well with the Perennial Essence designer series paper. I decided to use the colors from the dsp for the image. I stamped the leaves using Mossy Meadow ink. The flowers were stamped with Flirty Flamingo. I mounted the stamped image onto a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. I cut a piece of Perennial Essence dsp and some Silver metallic edged ribbon was wrapped around the lower portion. This panels was then mounted it onto a Flirty Flamingo card base. The stamped image layer was added using dimensionals. To finish the card, a bow was created using the ribbon and added to the card front using glue dots. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Painted Petals creation.
