I have tried to make cards to carry me through the week as it will be busy. Today’s card combines the color challenge of Bashful Blue, Kiwi Kiss, and Ruby Red from the Color Dare blog. These are definitely colors I would not have thought of putting together but they do work. I combined it with the sketch challenge at the Just Add Ink blog. I thought it would be fun to take a sentiment from Stem Sayings and split it in half with 1 half in the top square and the other half in the bottom square. I then wanted to add the word “friend” in the middle. Since the saying would be long even split in half, I had to use markers to ink up 1/4 of the saying each time and stamp them on a small square. This required a little playing with it but I finally was able to get it to work. Here is the sketch and my creation.
