Hello Everyone!
I GOT MY PREORDER! I was so excited as the UPS man deliver my box of new goodies. The new catalog goes live in 1 month so as a demonstrator I can a few select items before the catalog goes live. I was so excited when my box arrived. I couldn’t wait to open it and check out all the new goodies. I was babysitting the girls while Jess had her hair done but when she got home I jumped in the card and took my catalog down to Staples and had them spiral bind it for me. Last night I took my time and looked through it. Today I will go through it again and make what I already have as well as tab the items I want to eventually get.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. The weather is supposed to be nice. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day and unfortunately Chris has to work. Jess and I talked about going to lunch and doing some shopping. I think a lot will depend on how much we both feel like going out.
Today is my Simple Saturday card share. I take a card and make it then tomorrow I will “step it up”. I decided to play along with the sketch challenge at Paper Craft Crew Challenges
I wasn’t going to do this sketch as it was a challenge for me. I then decided that I needed to challenge myself. I wanted to use some new items as I can show you projects I have made with them but not the actual packages. For my card today I used a new stamp set to make my flowers on the card, 3 of the new in colors, as well as some new washi tape. Here is what I created using the sketch and the new in colors.

I will not be including and labels or supplies I used since other than the embossing folder – zig zag embossing folder – and the sentiment – A Dozen Thoughts – the rest is new items.
