Sketch Frenzy Friday Bliss

Happy Friday Everyone!

I am so glad the weekend is here.  I plan on using it to catch up with everything I am behind on.  I will be spending a lot of time in my craft room to do that.

My card today is for our sketch challenge at Sketch Frenzy FridayTammy Fite  gave us a great sketch to work with.

When I saw this I knew I wanted to do some embossing for our Big Shot challenge at Late Night Stampers.  I thought the larger back panel would be perfect for that.  I thought the small panel in front would be good for a sentiment.  Once I chose my set that idea changed but I like how it turned out anyway.  Now I needed some colors.  I checked out my challenge blogs and as it worked out Create, Ink!  had a great color combo.

I was ready to create.  I had gotten several new SAB sets and wanted to use one so I chose the Bliss set.  I love this set and would love to see it in the new catalog in August.  The rest was pretty easy.  I used some of the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.  I love this paper and it is a great deal for paper.  When my card was finished I used some of the pearls (another great deal) and added them to my butterfly.  Here is my finished creation.

So are you ready to see what the other ladies came up with using the same sketch?  Hop on over to Ros Davidson’s blog to check out what she did.  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!

  5. What a great card you made there. I love when two challenges work well together. PS Thanks for stopping by My Little Patch of Dirt and leaving such a nice comment. Here are the directions for the embellishment. I cut a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 piece of card stock. I then put that piece in side the Corner Scallop Punch following the dotted lines on the back of the punch it's self. Then I punched out the two opposite sides only

    That's it!~ Easy Peasy 🙂

  6. Such a pretty use of this set! Great challenge combination! So glad you joined us at ColorLab Challenges!
