Happy Friday Everyone!
I hope you have some great plans for the weekend! Jess is coming down but will only be here for a little bit as they are going to Chris’ parents. That is fine as a little visit with them is as good as a weekend!
We have a great sketch this week that was created by Jennifer Weide.
I thought about this one a little bit and came up with an idea I wanted to try. I am not sure if I like how it turned out. Let me know what you think.
I took a piece of cardstock and using the top note die I made a template. I used dotto to temporarily attach it to front of the card. Then I used the sponge dauber to push the ink out from the template towards the edges. Next I sponged the edge with Eggplant to make it highlight the shape. Then I just colored the stamp with markers and layered onto cardstock. I added the ribbon and bow and popped it up with dimensionals. Here is what my creation looks like.

So, do you like this or not? Let me know. This is our usual Friday blog hop so now it is time to hop on over to Sharon Wheet’s blog to see what she did with the sketch. Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!
Robbie

What a cool technique!!! I'm going to have to try that!! Love your card–as usual!! 🙂
I think it is beautiful! I love the idea of using the top note as a mask! I don't seem to think of those things. Great inspiration!!
I love how it turned out.
What a silly question, of course I like it. I really think it is very feminine and inspiring. You do great work my dear.

Love it! What a great technique!
I like this card. That is one of my favorite stamps. I love the colors you chose. Have to try the technique later since I am typing with one hand. Surgery went well, recovery went bad, very sick. Sandy
You really are a cleaver girl! This card is very feminine looking and elegant. What a cleaver idea Robbie!
