Sketch Frenzy Friday Sparkle

Happy Friday Ladies!

The weather has been sooooooo cold here.  My heat pump has been running constantly.  Don’t want to see what my electric bill will be.  How has the weather been in your area?

My card today began with the sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday.  This week the sketch was created by Angela Walters.

I ran across a snowflake challenge on Hand Stamped Sentiments that I wanted to do so I thought I would combine the 2.

I began by inking the snowflake with Baja Breeze and rolling the edges in Marina Mist.  After I stamped it I traced it with my glitter pen to make it really sparkly.  I then layered it on the same colors of cardstock.  Remember my card from Wednesday where I used Day of Gratitude and I mentioned I had done one with other colors I didn’t like, well as I was working on this card it was laying on my desk staring at me.  I picked it up and it matched my card colors today so I used it for the element at the top of the sketch.  I used the same procedure on this one as I did on the one on Wednesday.

I had my elements sitting on my card and it seemed to need something, so I pulled out some of my sparkly ribbon and added it.  I think the card turned out very pretty.  What are your thoughts?  Here is my creation.

Can you tell I love snowflakes and this medallion from Day of Gratitude!  Hope you are not getting tired of seeing it.  I promise to use another set for a few days.

Now hop on over to Ros Davidson’s blog to see what she did with our sketch.  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!
