Are any of you traveling today? I am headed to my daughter’s again. We are going to make our pumpkin pies, sweet potato casserole, and cranberry sauce tonight.
Today’s card was made using the sketch challenge at The Paper Players.
I started out by thinking I could use the Northern Frost strip to cut the snowflakes out of Baja Breeze paper and put white behind it. When I cut them out I realized if I used the strip it would not have the detail but just the outline. So I went back to square one. I cut the snowflakes out of white and then embossed with white snowflakes on the Baja Breeze paper. Using dimensionals I added the white snowflakes on top. I then used the Baja snowflakes to add to the white. It seemed to need something so I add some silver tinsel trim. I then pulled out the sentiment from a retired set and using the Baja Breeze marker inked up just the word snow. When it was all finished I spritzed it with the Vanilla Smooch Spritz. I love how it turned out and how sparkly it is. Here is the finished creation.
