Hello Everyone ~ I love snowflakes and I have a Snowflake Card in Soft Sky for you today.
I have a pretty quiet day today. I am hoping to work on some videos today and make some more cards. I also need to make my Christmas cards for my stamp-a-stack. If I have some time I need to start working on some gift ideas for a class. Lots to do but no pressure on any of them. I love days like this when I can relax and play a lot.
Today I have a pretty card for you. I love making snowflake cards and we have a great bundle in the Holiday catalog. The Snowflake Sentiments bundle has some beautiful snowflake images and a great snowflake edgelit. I began my card with a Soft Sky layer. Using the Soft Sky ink I stamped the larger snowflake image randomly across the panel. Next I used the strip of 3 mini snowflakes and I inked up only the 1 snowflake on the end using Dapper Denim ink. I stamped the one snowflake using first and second generation stamping randomly on the panel. I made sure to add some of the mini snowflakes where it looked like there was a “hole” in the background image. To add some sparkle ’cause you know I love my bling, I added a bow using the 3/8″ Silver metallic-edge ribbon. This panel was added to a Dapper Denim card base. I then used some Shimmery White card stock and the snowflake edgelit die I cut out the strip of snowflakes. Tombow glue was added to the back and the snowflakes were added to the bottom of the panel. Here is my completed Snowflake card in Soft Sky.
