Good Morning Stampers ~ blue is perfect for snowflake cards and here is my Soft Sky Snowflakes Card.
I promised you pictures of the trees after the girls had decorated them. Here they are!
Do you see how the ornaments on the first tree are clustered at the bottom? You can see that Remi had fun decorating it. For the other tree, Zoie took all 4 wooden angels and put them on one branch at the bottom. She gave them all names and said they were friends. She also focused her decorations in the middle of the tree. It is always so fun see how they decorate the trees each year.
My card today began with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches
This was a simple sketch so I kept my card simple. I began with a Soft Sky card base that I embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder. I used the Seasonal Layers thinlits to cut out the 3 snowflakes using Dazzling Diamonds. I took the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments set and stamped it using Island Indigo ink. I then used the snowflakes from the Christmas Pines set and stamped them in the background of the sentiment using Soft Sky. The Stitched Shapes framelits were used to cut out the sentiment. Because I wanted a small layer behind the sentiment, I used the Layering Ovals and cut it out with Island Indigo. Layer the 2 ovals and mount it onto your card base using dimensionals. Add dots of glue to the backs of the snowflakes and attach to your card. Your card is complete. Here is my Soft Sky Snowflakes Card.

Love the trees. It’s a matter of height of the child and attention span as to how much decoration gets put on.
Pretty card
LOVE your sweet tree decorating stories!! And the soft colors of your snowflake card. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
