Sorry for the late post today but I was with my sister yesterday. She had a doctor’s appointment and then we went to a scrapbooking store and some crosstitch stores. I bought some University of Maryland paper as well as some stickers for the college and Italy. I am going to work on making a scrapbook of my daughter’s graduation and my trip to Italy. I will post them as I get them done.
For today though I have 2 quick projects for you. The first is a going green project (there was a challenge somewhere but I can’t find it now 🙁 ). I received in the mail a magnetic refrigerator calendar from a local realtor. I know we all get them, the kind with the agents picture on it. I thought it would be cute to use it and remake the top. I took a scrap of designer series paper and covered the agents picture. Next I added some paper flowers I had gotten at the $1 spot at Target. I put buttons in the center, added ribbon and I was done. It was super quick and required very minimal supplies. Here is my creation.
Isn’t it just too cute!!!!!!!!!
Paper: Le Jardin (retired) Accessories: paper flowers (Target $1 spot), buttons and gingham ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), blue ribbon (Ribbons and Bows Oh My), Zots, sticky tape
The next goodie I have for you is an ATC. The Mothers and Daughters Creations is a blog posted by a mother and a daughter team. They had a Spring ATC Challenge that I thought would be fun to do. When I hear spring I think of pastel flowers, bees, butterflies, and lots of green grass. Using those ideas here is my creation.
Stamps: Itty Bitty Buds (hostess) Paper: white, Delicate Dots DS (SAB) Ink: Certainly Celery, Lovely Lilac, Old Olive, Regal Rose, So Saffron Accessories: ribbon and brads (Pink Hedgehog), butterfly charm (Michael’s – jewelry section), sticky tape, dimensionals
Well I am off to hem some baby blankets for my sister. I may get time to post again later today but not sure. Thanks for looking and have great day!
Robbie

Very cute – I love the way the ribbon echos the flower colors and the little charm is so sweet – awesome job!
